I am not stripping you of your power and selling it back to you as empowerment.

I am your REMINDER.

My role as your doula is to REMIND you of your own inherent power that already exists within YOU!

I support you in having a pregnancy and birth journey you desire.

You have so many options and should birth the way that you want to birth.

You already know how to birth.

Your body remembers. Your ancestors remember.

Birth is not something to fear, it is something to return to.

We are reclaiming the deep, ancient knowing of our bodies, our intuition and birth itself.

You have the right to choose every detail of your birth.

If you don't want to be touched, that is your right.

If you don't want your baby to be touched, that is your right.

Who you want present - and who you don't - is your right. 

How your body, your baby, and your placenta are handled is your choice.

Your birth space belongs to you.

You have full authority over your body, your environment and your experience. 

And this support extends to your partner.

Birth transforms everyone in the room.

Your partner deserves guidance, grounding and reassurance too.

I help them understand their role. How to hold space, how to comfort, how to trust your body right alongside you.

When partners feel confident, calm and connected it strengthens the energy in the entire birth space.

Being a Doula is ancestral.

More than a way to make a living, more than a necessity for me.

Doulas are essential to the journey of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

It takes a village to raise a child and a mother.

This generation of women did not get the villages they deserved. Our elders were everything.

Doulas are more than an aid. We are your support system, your friend, your heart and soul. We become your partners, not just through birth but parenthood as well.

I take this to heart.

That is why it sickens me to see birth treated as a commodity today and the attempts to monetize sacred passage.

If you are paying anywhere from $1,000+ you deserve substantial support.

More than one meet-and-greet during your pregnancy. More than one check-in postpartum. More than presence at the final stage of your birth, you deserve a continuum of care.

As much support as you need during pregnancy, birth and postpartum is what you deserve.

What I offer cannot be measured in dollars or "repaid."

That is how valuable this work truly is.
